Taskmaster: Meet the winner

Category: Fun stuff

If you’re not already a fan of the TV series Taskmaster, this will give you a flavour of the fun. It’s been such a huge success, we thought we’d extend the challenge to you, with tricky tasks for you to try at home (or in branch).

We’ll set a challenge and invite you to send in a photo or video of your completed task. You can complete them on your own, with friends or family, or with colleagues (all adhering to the relevant social distancing rules, of course).

We kicked things of by inviting you to release your inner music legend and recreate your favourite album cover. We had some incredible entries so it’s time to reveal our rock god finalists (epic drum solo) …

First, our runner up, Britpopping man-of-many-faces Stephen Leggett, with this inspired tribute to Blur’s classic Greatest Hits album.

And here’s the original, so you can appreciate Stephen’s full genius:

But the winner: take a bow, five encores and a big after-show party … Hoveactually! (George St, Hove). Created and sent in by the super-talented Katie Chapman, we were blown away by this tribute to Pink’s album Hurts 2b Human.

And here’s the original – we’re actually not sure which one is better!

Think you can do better? Take on the winner with this week’s task (it’s a little bit easier):

Create the best paper plane possible. Bonus points for design, style and flight efficiency.

Simply film your plane in flight and send us the video or attach it below by COP Tuesday 7th July.
