Kindness is key

Hey there – nice top, it really brings out your eyes. Did we make you smile? We did, didn’t we? That’s just our small way of being kind today. We’re being kind to colleagues and strangers because why not?

Has there ever been a greater need for kindness in the world? OK, that might be a very deep question on our ‘lighter side of life’ site but it’s worth taking a moment to think about.

Without stating the obvious, life is really tough for a lot of people right now and a polite smile, caring (virtual) cuppa or a small gesture can go a long way to make people feel a little better.

Kindness is a quality we all possess but do we use it as much as we should? Are we kind to ourselves and others?

Well, today (Friday 13 November) is World Kindness Day. It was launched in 1988 by The World Kindness Movement and it’s celebrated annually. The mission is to create a kinder world by inspiring individuals and nations towards greater kindness.
