Their doors may be closed at the moment, but the National Theatre’s YouTube channel continues to stream culture directly into our homes with its fantastic live performances.

Until Thursday 2 July, you can watch a command performance of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, directed by Nicholas Hytner and featuring Game of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie.

Les Blancs – streaming from Thursday 2 July at 7pm until Thursday 9 July. An African country teeters on the edge of civil war in Lorraine Hansberry’s epic, directed by Yaël Farber.

The Deep Blue Sea – streaming from Thursday 9 July at 7pm until Thursday 16 July. Helen McCrory plays one of contemporary drama’s greatest female roles in Terence Rattigan’s masterpiece, directed by Carrie Cracknell.

Amadeus – streaming from Thursday 16 July at 7pm to Thursday 23 July. Lucian Msamati is Salieri in Peter Shaffer’s iconic play, directed by Michael Longhurst and featuring live orchestral accompaniment by Southbank Sinfonia.
